The USAID Integrated Nutrition Project is being implemented from June 2024 to June 2029 to improve the nutritional status of women, adolescents, and children from underserved and marginalized communities in Nepal by strengthening health, food, water, sanitation and hygiene, education, and social protection systems.
In partnership with Helen Keller International and in collaboration with local governments, the following staff are required for the implementation of the project in Bardiya district.

Position: Program Coordinator
Number of Positions Required: 1
Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in public health or social sciences (master’s degree preferred)
Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of work experience in managing similar projects and grants and demonstrated measurable capabilities,
- Proficiency in project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing,
- Proficiency in staff capacity development and team mobilization,
- Effective coordination with partners, stakeholders and networks and leadership in meetings,
- Good writing and speaking skills in English and Nepali,
- Professional skills in working with computers in Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
- Possess a two-wheeler driving license, and Commitment to working even in remote areas of the district.

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer (MEL Officer)
Required Number: 1
Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science and information technology or public health (master’s degree in related subject preferred)
Experience and Skills:
- 3 years of experience as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer in development projects,
Ability to collect, analyze and manage data, - Skilled in project planning, monitoring and quality assurance of each activity, documentation and report writing,
- Professional writing skills, speaking skills and translation skills in English and Nepali,
- Professional skills in working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint on a computer,
- Possess a two-wheeler driving license, and Commitment to regularly visit remote areas of the district to monitor activities.

- 3 years of experience as an Administration and Finance Officer in development projects,
- Skilled in preparing reports using FAMAS software for accounting management,
- Skilled in financial governance, personnel administration and internal control system management,
- Professional skills in working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint on a computer, and
- Possess a two-wheeler driving license.

Post: Municipal Officer
Required Number: 4
Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in public health or B.Sc. Nursing or H.A. Graduate in other subjects.
Experience and Skills:
- 3 years of experience working for health or nutrition improvement within the local government system,
- Ability to effectively coordinate with health, education, housing, agriculture and other departments as per the needs of the municipality, prepare plans, implement plans and develop the capacity of the municipality team,
- Ability to advocate and monitor progress with stakeholders on nutrition issues at the municipal level,
- Ability to prepare reports on work done at the municipal level (in accordance with compliance),
- Professional skills in working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint on a computer, and
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving license.

Position: Integrated Nutrition Facilitator (Female only)
Required number: 4
Minimum educational qualification: Certificate of Proficiency in Nursing or H.A. Passed or Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) or CMA and passed 12th class or certificate of proficiency in other subjects
Experience and skills:
- 2 years of experience as a health worker or community facilitator/operator integrated into the local government health system,
- Facilitate the development of family, tole and ward level plans to address the needs identified at the community level for nutrition improvement,
- Ability to develop and mobilize the capacity of family and local community organizations, Ability to facilitate in Nepali and local languages
- Skill in recording and monitoring progress at the household, tole and ward levels and writing reports in Nepali or English,
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving license.

Type of Examination: Written, Practical and Interview
Service Period: 6 months (may be extended if satisfactory performance is performed during the 6-month probationary period)
