INF Nepal is a non-governmental organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

1. Position: Finance Manager (Re-Vacancy)

  • Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder based in Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara is responsible for ensuring the financial management of the Hospital and Health Services Department of INF Nepal which includes Green Pastures Hospital, Shining Hospital Banke, Shining Hospital Surkhet and all the projects running through these hospitals.

The job holder will ensure department-wise finance function management, cash flow management, implementation and compliance of Finance Policies, Procedures and related legal compliances, consolidation of variance reports, forecasts and trend analysis, overseeing, supervising and being accountable for the job of finance staff and arrangement for internal and external audit and management responses as well as ensuring the planning and budgeting of the Hospital and Health Services Department contributing to meeting the vision, mission and goals of INF Nepal.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Must have an MBA or MBS majoring in Finance/ Accounts or Audit with a minimum of 7 years of work experience in financial management and control preferably at a not-for-profit organization OR ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Good understanding of project management and project cycles.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer skill (Ms. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), along with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the use of computerized accounting packages.
  • Able to analyze the financial risks and reports promptly.
  • Able to support non-financial risks and reports promptly.
  • Able to support non finance staff in understanding the policies and procedures.
  • Able to motivate and manage staff for their job.
  • Able to priorities work and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to remote working areas of Nepal.
  • Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.

2. Position: Assistant Monitoring and Research Officer

  • Required Number: 1
  • Location: GPHRC, SUNITA Project, Pokhara
  • Duration: Short Term Contract

About Palliative Care and Chronic Disease Services and SUNITA Project:

The Palliative Care and Chronic Disease (PCCD) service offers clinical and community-based palliative care services. SUNITA Project is a three-year plan in which INF Nepal will be developing a Palliative Care and Chronic Disease (PCCD) Centre of Excellence at Green Pastures Hospital through clinical services, research, and education/training.

This project will support the National Strategy for Palliative Care, which was developed by palliative care experts in Nepal and was adopted by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). Over the period of three years, it will design, implement, and test a rural healthcare intervention in palliative care in Lamjung, Rukum, Surkhet, Kapilvastu, and Banke.

Purpose of the Job:

To develop and maintain database & information system to track project progress and research evidence. The post holder will also assist the research and monitoring team with their ongoing research and monitoring activities

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Science, Rural or International Development or a related degree with a minimum of two years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Work experience in an INGO or NGO or clinical setting is an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal skills and are considerate and respectful of team and community members.
  • Advance computer skills including Microsoft programs, statistical analysis and M&E tools.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in verbal and written Nepali and English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
  • In agreement with the vision, mission and values of INF Nepal.

3. Position: Communication & Graphic Design Officer (Re-Vacancy)

  • Required Number: 1
  • Location: Central Office, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the mission and impact of INF Nepal to a broad audience. This role involves planning, editing, and producing a variety of content for internal and external communications. The Communications Officer will ensure that all organizational initiatives and projects are effectively communicated to staff and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and knowledge:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in communication or journalism or advocacy and media relations, marketing or any related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing communication strategies, media, advertising, copy writing or journalism. Master’s degree in marketing or any other communication related field is an advantage.
  • Experience in building media contacts, editorial, persuasive writing and copywriting is an advantage.
  • Must have knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, Google analytics, email marketing, social media marketing), graphic design, photography and videography.
  • Ability to write creatively, engagingly and accurately in both English and Nepali for a range of audiences, including the ability to translate, transcribe, edit and proofread others writing for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Excellent command of both English and Nepali Language, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer skills (MS office, Adobe Professional Package: Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Auditions)
  • Skilled in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of written, audio-visual and web-based communication pieces.
  • Willing to travel to remote areas of Nepal for documentation through photography, video and content write-ups.
  • Ability to handle last-minute changes and work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision, serves as a key resource for teammates and colleagues when issues arise.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion and personal conduct. Self-motivated with good judgment and initiative.
  • Demonstrates INF Nepal’s Values in work and interactions with others.
