Nepal Bar Association Vacancy for District Level Aid Officer – 19 Posts

Nepal Bar Association, Central Legal Aid Committee: As per the decision made on 2081/07/12 by the Central Legal Aid Committee of the Nepal Bar Association, applications are invited for the position of District Legal Aid Officer on a contractual basis in the following 19 districts: Gulmi, Tehrathum, Taplejung, Saptari, Bara, Dhading, Makwanpur, Myagdi, Surkhet, Dang, Humla, Dolpa, Mugu, Manang, Mustang, Salyan, Kailali, Lalitpur, and Dadeldhura.

District Level Aid Officer – 19

Qualified law professionals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and hold an advocate license are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted within 15 days of this notice’s publication date.

Application Details

1. Applications must follow the format specified in the District Legal Aid Officer Appointment Procedure, 2078.
2. The following certified documents must be included with the application:

Required Documents

(a) Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate.

(b) Copies of Academic Qualification Certificates and Mark Sheets.

(c) Copy of a Character Certificate.

(d) Copy of the Advocate License.

(e) Proof of experience in:

• Women’s rights or legal aid.
• Combating gender-based violence or caste discrimination.
• Other relevant social awareness initiatives.

(f) If the current residence differs from the address mentioned in the citizenship certificate, a recommendation letter from the local authority must be sent confirming the current address.

Additional Information

• The service term is 1 year (contractual).
• Applications submitted after the deadline or that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
