Minimum Qualifications:
- Nepalese citizens
- Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Nagar Prahari Hawaldar: Passed a certificate level or equivalent in related subjects from a university/educational institution recognized by the Government of Nepal.
- Nagar Prahari Jawan: Passed Class 8 from a recognized educational institution. Passed SLC/SEE or equivalent recognized by the Government of Nepal in related subjects.
- Age limit: Must be 18 years old and not more than 30 years old. However, for Nepali citizens who have retired from the Nepali Army, Armed Police, Nepal Police, or armies and police of countries outside of Nepal, the age limit is 45 years.
- Must not be a member of any political party.
- Must not be disqualified by other prevailing laws.
Type of Exam:
Applicants will undergo several tests including a Preliminary Health Test,
- Physical Fitness Test,
- Comprehensive Health Test,
- Written Test and Interview.
Only candidates who pass the preliminary health test will participate in the physical fitness test, and those who pass the comprehensive health test will participate in the written test and interview.
