With the financial and technical support of Room to Read, the Girls’ Education Program (GEP) which is going to be conducted in Banke district by BAS Nepal requires the following employees. Applications are invited within 10 days from the date of the first publication of the notice from the interested Nepali citizens who have qualified as follows.

Position: Program Coordinator

• Number required: 1 person
• Minimum Educational Qualification Required:
  • Graduated from a recognized educational institution in education, gender studies, management and social work
  • At least 5 years of experience working in projects (Working in girl child education programs will be preferred)
  • Having good knowledge about educational issues, climate change, gender equality in education
  • Having at least 3 years of work experience in program planning, documentation and report writing.
  • Having knowledge about local level and experience of working with local level, having experience related to staff capacity development and deployment.
  • Proficiency in Nepali and English language, good knowledge of email and internet.
  • In addition to having a driver’s license, who can drive a motorcycle or scooter Note: Women will be given priority.

Post: Administration and Accounts Officer

• Number required: 1 person
• Minimum Educational Qualification Required:
  • Graduated from a recognized educational institution in the Faculty of Management.
  • Having at least 3 years of work experience in accounting,
    Able to prepare program budget plan.
  • Knowledge of using Accounting Software.
  • Those who have vehicle (Motorcycle / Scooter) and driver’s license will be accepted.

Position: Social Mobilizer

• Required Number: 8 (Women Only)
• Minimum Educational Qualification Required:
  • Graduation from a recognized educational institution in the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences with at least one year of working experience in the community.
  • Experienced working with school age girls.
    Having good knowledge of program management, facilitation, group management skills and reporting.
  • Competent in computer (Ms word, Excel, power point / Email internet), able to use social media.
  • Able to work in coordination and cooperation with stakeholders.
    Vehicles (Motorcycle/Scooter) and those with driver’s license will be allowed.
