City Police (Nagara Prahari) Vacancy Details:

Eligibility Criteria:

For Deputy Superintendent of City Police:

• Nepalese citizenship
• Graduate or equivalent from a recognized educational institution
• Age between 40 and 50 years
• Nepal Police/Armed Police Force Deputy Superintendent or above, Nepalese Army Soldier or above, or Nepal Police Police Inspector with a minimum of 10 years of service
• No convictions for criminal charges showing moral turpitude
• Health certificate from a recognized health institution
• Character certificate from the concerned office

For Deputy Inspector of City Police:

• Nepalese citizenship
• Passed Proficiency Certificate or equivalent from a recognized educational institution
• Age between 30 and 45 years
• Nepal Police Police/Armed Police Force Deputy Inspector or above, Nepal Army Suvedar or above, or Nepal Police Police Inspector with a minimum of 10 years of service
• No convictions for criminal charges showing moral turpitude
• Health certificate from a recognized health institution
• Character certificate from the concerned office

For Sub-Inspector of City Police:

• Nepalese citizenship
• Passed Proficiency Certificate or equivalent from a recognized educational institution
• Age between 18 and 25 years
• Served for 10 years or more in the post of Assistant Inspector of Police/Armed Police Force of Nepal Police or above, Jamdar or above of Nepal Army, or Police Inspector of Nepal Police
• No convictions for criminal charges showing moral turpitude
• Health certificate from a recognized health institution
• Character certificate from the concerned office

For City Constables:

• Nepalese citizenship
• Passed 8th class or equivalent from a recognized educational institution
• Age between 18 and 25 years
• Served for 10 years or more in the post of Assistant Inspector of Police/Armed Police Force of Nepal Police or above, Jamdar or above of Nepal Army, or Police Inspector of Nepal Police
• No convictions for criminal charges showing moral turpitude
• Health certificate from a recognized health institution
• Character certificate from the concerned office

Physical fitness requirements:

For men:

• Height: 5 feet 2 inches
• Chest: 31-33 inches
• Weight: 52 kg
• Eyesight: +2 or no more than -2 weak

For women:

• Height: 5 feet
• Weight: 50 kg
• Eyesight: +2 or no more than -2 weak
