Qualifications and Requirements:
- Age Limit: 30-45 for Inspector and ASI / 18-35 for Nagar Prahari Jawan
- Educational Qualifications:
- City Police Inspector: Graduation from a recognized educational institution
- Assistant Sub-Inspector of City Police: SLC/SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution
- Nagar Prahari Jawan: Must have passed class 8.
- Applicants should not have been punished for violations of human rights and humanitarian laws, and not removed from any service disqualifying them from future government service.
- Applicants should not be a member of any political party.
- City Police candidates must submit a health certificate from an approved doctor.
- Physical Requirements:
- Men: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, minimum chest circumference of 31 inches (33 inches when inflated), minimum weight of 50 kg.
- Women: Minimum height of 5 feet, minimum weight of 42 kg.
- For both men and women, eyesight should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
- Preferred: Light four-wheeler and heavy vehicle driver’s license.
