Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- A graduate degree in areas such as Management, Banking, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accountancy, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Law.
- Alternatively, a Chartered Accountancy or a Bachelor’s Degree in the mentioned fields with a specialization in Banking and Finance.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience in a recognized institution, university, or international organization.
Documents Required with Application:
- Completed application form.
- Proof of educational qualifications and work experience.
- Nepali citizenship certificate.
- Detailed CV including contact details.
- Professional action plan sealed in a separate envelope.
- Departmental approval from the current employer if currently employed.
- Equivalence certificate for degrees from foreign universities.
- Statements Required with Application:
- No affiliation with any political party.
- No conflicts of interest with the bank.
- No criminal charges or convictions related to corruption, fraud, or dishonesty.
- Not blacklisted by the Credit Information Center.
- Tax payment certificate for the financial year 2078/79.
Business Plan Submission:
- Candidates must submit a comprehensive business plan, not exceeding 5,000 words, aligned with the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the CEO role.
Selection Process:
- Evaluation: Candidates will be assessed based on their educational qualifications, work experience, and the professional work plan submitted.
- Shortlisting: Those scoring at least 60% will be shortlisted for further assessments, including an interview and presentation of their professional action plan.
- Final Selection: The top three candidates, following evaluations, will be recommended to the board of directors.
Salary:
- The compensation package for the CEO position, including monthly salary and other benefits, will be determined by the Board of Directors in accordance with the contract terms.
