Job Description

Main purpose of job:

• To support delivery of UK objectives in Nepal through use of communications.
• As Communications Lead, working within the politics and partnerships team, you will plan and implement the embassy’s communications strategy.
• You will lead on the design and implementation of effective communication and outreach strategies in order to raise engagement with a broad Nepali audience and influence decision makers, increase awareness and understanding of the UK’s work in Nepal and the UK.
• This will cover a range of Nepal and global issues from international development, to trade, diplomacy and consular issues.
• You will work closely with the Ambassador, Development Director and teams across the embassy to communicate the impact of our work, and to build on the UK’s positive perception in Nepal.
