Overall Responsibilities:
The Consultant – Research Associates positions will be responsible for enrolling study participants, data collection through households’ visits, coordination, note taking during qualitative data collection, and ensuring data quality.
The research associates will work in close coordination with the Research officer.
The Consultant – Research Associates will follow Helen Keller research ethics.
Deliverables:
Enroll study participants and acquire written informed consent.
Collect longitudinal quantitative data through regular house visits.
Coordinate and support Research Officer in conducting qualitative data collection.
Collaborate effectively with research team members, stakeholders, and health facilities throughout the process of enrolling, locating, and data collection from respondents.
Regularly review and verify collected data for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure data collection activities in the field are executed efficiently and according to the research implementation plan.
Qualifications and Experiences:
Should have at least bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, nutrition, or social sciences with at least a year of experience in research related activities.
Sound knowledge on data collection and use.
Knowledge on conducting qualitative data collection, note taking.
Experience working in a district-based position.
Other Skills
Excellent written and spoken Nepali and English language skills
An ability to maintain balance when under stress.
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Note
The consultant position is field – based at municipality level and is expected to travel 100% of the time during the job.
Preference will be given to female candidates residing in Lumbini Province.
