We’re currently inviting applications for the following positions:

1. Counsellor (Female) – SOS Children’s Village Kavre

2. Counsellor (Female and Male) – SOS Children’s Village Lumbini

As a Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the social, moral, emotional, and intellectual development of children and young people. Your responsibilities will include providing professional counseling, identifying unique educational needs, organizing workshops, and maintaining essential documentation. You’ll be part of a team that empowers children to overcome challenges, build self-esteem, and foster mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer guidance and counseling to support the overall development of children and young people.
• Assess and address individual educational requirements, collaborating with teachers for academic progress.
• Organize classes and activities that enhance self-esteem and mental health awareness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or equivalent (with relevant experience) OR Master’s Degree in Psychology or equivalent (with relevant experience).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience working with children and young people is a plus.
• Two-wheeler license preferred.
• Age and Citizenship Requirements:

Nepali citizens below 35 years of age.
