About Us
CTEVT, Gandaki Province, Province Office (GPPO) was established in 2019 (2075 BS) as a contact and co-ordination office of Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) in Gandaki Province after the nation implemented federalism. GPPO coordinates with the Ministry of Social Development, a provincial line Ministry for Education for the development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Province. It serves as a provisional office in province acting a bridge between the Province Government and CTEVT focusing mainly on TVET sector reform.
GPPO monitors and regulates all the constituent, TECS, affiliated, and partner schools in their admission, registration, examination, and result publication. Skill-based short term training and skill testing conducted by NSTB in the province are also coordinated and monitored by GPPO. It acts as a facilitator, coordinator, harbinger for overall enhancement of TVET within the province.

According to the bilateral agreement between Gandaki Provincial Government, Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Pokhara and this office, youth who have acquired technical education will participate in the provincial and local development process in the areas of good governance promotion, infrastructure development and service delivery from February 2079 to mid-2080.
Since there is a program to mobilize volunteers at the local level, technical manpower who have passed the pre-diploma (Technical S.L.C.) and have reached the age of 18 will be mobilized in Agriculture (Crop Science), Agriculture (Animal Science), Engineering (Civil), Survey(Amin) as a volunteer from among the candidates with permanent residence in Gandaki Province who are willing to work at the local level to provide necessary support in the areas.
