In this regard, USAID’s financial support and partnership with CBM, DEC Nepal / KOSHISH are conducting a USAID Inclusive Livelihood-West activity to economically empower people with disabilities in Dang and Banke districts. Under this, applications are invited from qualified Nepali citizens for the following positions in the wards of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang District.
Position: Economic Empowerment Facilitator – 1 person
- Educational Qualification: 10 plus 2 with 3 years of work experience in the relevant field
- Skills and Responsibilities
- Having the skills of an economic empowerment facilitator,
- Facilitating advocacy meetings for enterprises and self-employment of people with disabilities, facilitating meetings of self-reliance groups,
- Providing counseling support to people with disabilities,
- Facilitating various economic empowerment capacity building trainings, preparing monthly and annual action plans and reports,
- Able to collect data through house visits and mobile applications,
- Having the skills to coordinate with stakeholders in livelihood activities, and local candidates will be given special consideration.

Nepali citizens who are eligible for the above-mentioned posts are requested to send their application along with their biodata and copies of educational qualification and work experience certificates by email to decnepal7@gmail.com or to DEC-Nepal Office, Kohalpur Municipality Ward No. 11, Kohalpur, Banke, within office hours on or before 2081/9/25 (9 Jan 2025).
Special preference will be given to applicants who can understand and speak the local language, have work experience in the field of disability, persons with disabilities, women, Dalits, tribals, Muslim communities and tribals and local applicants.
