About Us
Financial stability is a topical issue that has received increasing attention from central banks, governments, market players, lenders and deposit insurers. As a deposit insurer, the Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund (DCGF) has started a deposit guarantee scheme in Nepal since 2010.
Deposit guarantee/insurance is globally recognized as an important part of a country’s financial safety net and is implemented in more than 120 countries worldwide. It is a system that protects depositors from losing their guaranteed deposits with Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) in the unlikely event that the BFIs fail.
DCGF through its “Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund Act, 2073” has been given statutory responsibility to perform both deposit guarantee and credit guarantee functions. There are 6 representatives from the government and 1 person from Nepal Rastra Bank on the DCGF board. Apparently, DCGF is a separate organization sponsored and administered by the government. Basically, the deposit guarantee system is a government sponsored scheme.

As per the consent of the Public Service Commission, the written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission and the following vacant posts in the Deposit & Credit Guarantee Fund should be filled permanently through open competition for Deposit & Credit Guarantee Fund Job Vacancy.
Nepalese citizens who have met the following qualifications and who have not been disqualified in accordance with Regulation 22 of 2074 on the staff service and conditions of the fund, should mention the details in the application form provided by this fund and self-attest a copy of all the certificates of citizenship and educational qualification of SLC or above.

The prescribed examination fee for the post to be given by the Rastriya Banijya Bank, Tangal Branch Current Account No. 116000036701 and its gross receipt should be attached with the application.
If there is a public holiday on the last day of submitting the application, the application can be submitted on the next day. No action will be taken on the application that is not registered within the deadline and is not received properly.
