About BlinkNow Foundation: The BlinkNow Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization based in New Jersey, working through its Nepal country office to oversee various programs in rural Nepal. These programs include a school, a children’s home, and a women’s training center. The organization is dedicated to creating a world where every child is educated, safe, and loved.

Overview of this Role: The Education & Training Expert will play a pivotal role in empowering teachers, School Management Committees (SMCs), parents, and overseeing activities aimed at strengthening the public sector education system in Nepal. The primary focus is on achieving national education goals by supporting targeted public schools and providing globally relevant and competitive teacher development training for basic education. This role also involves contributing to the organization’s strategic direction and shaping the public perception of the BlinkNow brand.

Major Responsibilities:

• Engaging with the PTA, SMCs, and Parents to enhance school education.
• Oversight of on-ground interventions in Nepal and addressing emerging needs.
• Strategic input on the organization’s direction and public image enhancement for BlinkNow.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the PTA, SMCs, and parents to enhance the quality of school education.
• Take charge of training and skill development for public-school teachers.
• Strategically plan for long-term staff training, resource management, and educational development, with a focus on curriculum.
• Report directly to the Country Representative, ensuring awareness of project activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in the early years’ program to maximize student and teacher achievement.
• Facilitate capacity building for both principals and teachers through professional development workshops, training, and relevant external opportunities.
• Oversee all on-ground interventions in Nepal and address arising needs.
• Assist principals and SMCs in implementing a performance management system for teachers.
• Maintain efficient communication between partner schools and BlinkNow.
• Conduct regular check-ins and formal performance evaluations of the project team.
• Integrate international best practices in education and teaching-learning methods for basic schools.
• Handle partnership proposals, donation offers, and external inquiries affecting Nepal operations.
• Support student learning and monitor educational standards, including extracurricular activities.
• Contribute to shaping the organization’s strategic direction and enhancing public perception.

Requirements (Must Have):

• Proven work experience in training and staff development.
• International experience and recognition, with a strong global network.
• Strong motivational and communication skills, with familiarity in using technology for educational purposes.
• A relevant university degree.
• A strong work ethic, adaptability, multitasking ability, and efficiency in creating systems and maintaining records.
• Profound knowledge of child psychology and global best educational practices.
