Habitat Nepal Career Opportunities 2023: Trainee Roles in Finance & Admin and Communications (1-Year Term)

With its central office located in Kathmandu and two regional offices in Purbanchal and Sudurpashchim Province, we are expanding our team.

Position 1: Trainee – Finance and Administration

• Vacancy: 1 (One)
• Announcement Date: 13 October 2023
• Duration: 1 year
• Location: Habitat Nepal East Field Office (currently Biratnagar)
• Reporting to: Coordinator-Finance and Administration
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in management studies or relevant discipline
• Experience: Fresh graduates with excellent English and Nepali language skills are encouraged to apply. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential.

Position 2: Trainee- Communications

• Vacancy: 1 (One)
• Announcement Date: 13 October 2023
• Duration: 1 year
• Location: Kathmandu
• Reporting to: Sr Manager RD & Communications
• Qualification: Bachelors’ degree in mass communications, social studies, or a related field
• Experience: Prior work experience is not required. We are seeking candidates with outstanding communication skills, creativity, and a passion for collaboration. Knowledge of photography, videography, editing, and design is a plus. Nepali typing skills will be an advantage.

Purpose of the Positions:

Join our dedicated team and gain hands-on experience in the management of office administration, financial operations, and communications for an International Development Agency. As a Finance and Administration Trainee, you will support the daily operations of our East Field Office and assist partners with their financial management under the guidance of the Finance and Admin Coordinator. As a Communications Trainee, you will contribute to the execution of our communication strategy and collaborate with various departments and institutions.
