Hamro Palo New Vacancy 2080 for Program Assistant

Position: Program Assistant (Level: Junior/Learner)

| Station | Kathmandu with frequent travels to Dhading, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, etc. |
| Duration | 1-year contract, renewable for 3 years based on satisfactory performance. |
| We are commencing new projects and aiming to fill these positions by the end of January 2024. | |
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the program, monitoring, and evaluation team in program delivery and management.
- Ensure the ongoing relevance of Hamro Palo’s training programs by maintaining and updating them.
- Supervise local trainers and mentors and provide guidance.
- Assist in preparing activity-based reports.
- Maintain and build relationships with local stakeholders and other development agencies.
- Supervise advocacy and other communication initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Education, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- No prior experience required; however, internship and volunteerism in any social organizations will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in both English and Nepali language.
- Good typing speed in both Nepali and English.
- Capability to deliver engaging presentations and possess essential IT skills and knowledge of record-keeping is essential.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to efficiently manage tasks, timelines, and resources.
- Strong personal commitment to continuous learning and improvement of knowledge and skills.
- Flexibility in understanding and integrating gender, diversity, and inclusion perspectives into training and development planning and delivery.
