Himalaya Airlines Nepal New Vacancy Announcement 2023 for Sales Division Manager, Vice President

Himalaya Airlines’ network presently consists of Doha, Dammam, Riyadh, Dubai, Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait & China sectors. Interested candidates are requested to send in applications for the following Himalaya Airlines Nepal New Vacancy posts:

1. Vice President – Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Allocate resources to manage safety risks and security threats to aircraft operations
• Ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with the AOC and in compliance with applicable regulations and Himalaya Airlines (HIM) standards and policies (directly or through delegation)
• Ensure optimal facilities management to balance cost, efficiency and effectiveness of supporting infrastructure
• Ensure financial planning and control of the Operation Division
• Ensure sufficient human resources are made available to all HIM departments to ensure and confirm it to legal and operational standards

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years airline industry experience
• Holder of ATPL license
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Pilot in Command on A-320 Aircraft type
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Senior Management of a scheduled passenger carrier operating large aircraft over 50 tons within recent 6 years

2. Sales Division Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the passenger sales, marketing and customer sales team to ensure smooth operations and deliver excellent services to the customers
• Prepare sales strategies to increase revenue of Himalaya Airlines
• Suggest ways and means for effective sales promotion by which more traffic could be generated
• Make all possible endeavors to enhance the image, good will and reputation of Himalaya Airlines
• Send traffic related statistics and MIS on regular basis
• Develop, review and optimize trading strategies against key competitors
• Monitor/ Supervise all the sales related activities
• Suggest ways and mention to improve yield

Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s degree from a reputed university
• Fluent in written and spoken English with knowledge of Chinese Culture to deal with Chinese clients
• Knowledge of permit processing for China sectors
• Minimum 15 years of experience in International Airlines
