Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Collect and analyze data on listed securities in Nepal, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and debentures.
- Focus on specific industries, sectors, or financial instruments within Nepal’s stock market to develop expertise.
- Evaluate financial statements of companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and analyze key performance indicators.
- Scrutinize financial reports as and when published and stay abreast of their financial health.
- Monitor trends in NEPSE, including market movements, price fluctuations, and volume changes.
- Analyze macroeconomic factors such as monetary policies, government regulations, and economic indicators affecting the Nepalese capital market.
- Prepare detailed research reports on securities and sectors for investment decision-making.
- Preparation of Investment / Divestment proposal and present to Department Head/Chief of Business and Operations for approval.
- Holistic analysis of listed companies and market covering fundamental & technical perspectives.
- Take the lead on looking for attractive investment avenues and present it forth to the Department Head/ Chief of Business and Operations.
- Ensure the daily investment status circulated by the Department Head is updated and accurate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss market research and develop investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) guidelines and other relevant regulations.
- Supervise/ assist other back-office functions whenever required.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and all related stakeholders.
Core Activities
- Ensure extensive research and valuation to identify profitable investment avenues.
- Boost sales and strengthen relationships with clients, brokers etc.
Skills Required
- Fundamental & Technical analysis skills to analyze stocks along with increased knowledge of general investor’s behavior.
- Quick and ingenuous trade execution.
- Sound knowledge on various Valuation Models.
- Proficiency and experience in working in accounting & MIS software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint., etc.)
- Proficient Communication and presentation skills, ingenuity, and creativity.
- Proficient verbal communication skills, thinking and reasoning skills.
Education and Preferred Experience Requirements
- Master’s in finance, Accounts, or Management, or Chartered Accountant accredited from ICAN, ICAI, ACCA.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferably in the Nepalese Capital Market.
Salary and Benefits
The Annual Cost to Company (ACTC) for this position will range between NPR 503,000 and NPR 1,005,000. A successful candidate’s pay may fall within this range, actual pay will be based on the candidates’ qualifications, specific skills, and experience. The Benefits associated with the position are as below:

Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting in the confirmation and affirmation of trade details with counterparties.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations (e.g., vendor accounts, customer accounts, general ledger accounts).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between financial records and bank statements.
- Assist in reconciling transactions and ensuring they align with financial records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support in preparing reports for internal and external audits.
- Ensure that records are kept in accordance with company policy and regulations.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as risk management and compliance, to ensure seamless operations.

- Regularly reconcile company bank statements with internal financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions, ensuring the accuracy of the bank ledger and cash balances.
- Organize and maintain files for financial documents, ensuring all records are filed according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software, including invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

- 1 year’s relevant experience in similar function preferred.
Salary and Benefits
The Annual Cost to Company (ACTC) for this position will range between NPR 362,000 and NPR 495,000. A successful candidate’s pay may fall within this range, actual pay will be based on the candidates’ qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
