INF Nepal Job Vacancy 2023 for HRD Manager and Finance Officer Positions

International Nepal Fellowship (INF Nepal) is a non-governmental organization established in 1952, dedicated to serving the underprivileged and marginalized communities of Nepal by providing comprehensive health and development services. INF Nepal operates in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.
INF Nepal’s Central Office and Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre in Pokhara are currently seeking skilled, dedicated Nepali citizens who align with our vision, missions, and values for the following positions:
1. HRD Manager
- Required Number: 1
- Location: Central Office, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job: The HRD Manager plays a vital role in managing employment-related matters within INF Nepal. They work to maintain and enhance the organization’s reputation as a responsible employer and an effective NGO. This role involves encouraging and ensuring the implementation of the Employment Policy in collaboration with the Senior Management Team (SMT).
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Master’s degree in management with at least five years of people management experience, preferably in an I/NGO or healthcare setting. A master’s degree specializing in Human Resource Management is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, HR information systems, labor laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
- Analytical ability to make informed decisions and drive HR processes in alignment with the organizational strategic plan.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali, including translation.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to remote project areas of INF Nepal.
- Alignment with INF Nepal’s core values of honesty and equality.
2. Finance Officer
- Required Number: 1
- Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara
Purpose of the Job: The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities at Green Pastures Hospital (GPH) to ensure effective financial management and reporting in line with the annual plan. Additionally, the role involves providing financial information and reports to the finance manager/coordinator and other managers and in-charges of GPH.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in management with a focus on finance or accountancy and a minimum of three years of accounting and financial management experience in a similar role. Experience in I/NGO leadership and financial management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets; advanced skills in accounting software and Excel are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and presentation abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with expatriates.
- High level of integrity in all matters.
- Prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstration of INF Nepal values in work and interactions with others.
