Position: Program Coordinator (Engineer)

• Location: Institution’s Head Office, Birendra Nagar, Surkhet (Regular and extensive field visits included)
• Age Limit: 21 – 50 years
• Remuneration: Basic Salary Rs.75000.00 + Additional Benefits (Provident Fund, Gratuity, Festivals, Accident & Health Insurance, Communication Expenses)

Key Responsibilities

As a Program Coordinator, your primary focus will encompass:

• Formulating, implementing, and monitoring work area plans and managing corresponding reports.
• Coordinating with village/municipality, WASH offices, schools, public institutions, and drinking water consumer committees.
• Taking leadership in mobilizing, guiding, and monitoring the team members for effective plan and activity implementation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduated in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 1-year experience in WASH and 3 years of overall work experience.
• Competency in program management at the local level.
• Proficient in report writing in both Nepali and English and capable of producing all kinds of program-related reports.
• Adept skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, and human resource management.
• Preference for those with the ability to prepare surveys, design, and cost estimates for drinking water and sanitation plans.
• Skills in stress management, time management, maintaining a learning attitude, and results-oriented approach, and willingness to work in geographically remote areas.

Period of Employment:

• Up to July 2024
• Includes a 3-month probationary period
• Extension subject to performance, needs, and resource availability
