Position: Trainee HR

The HR Department is embarking on the Paperless HR Initiative under the guidance of the Asia Regional Office. This initiative involves the digitization and organization of hard copies of current and former staff records, as well as the digitalization of all recruitment process files and documents. The primary goal of this traineeship is to assist the department in implementing the Paperless HR Initiative, collaborating closely with the HR Coordinator- Personnel Administration, Documentation, and Oracle. Additionally, the trainee will support the HR Coordinator- Recruitment in the documentation, sorting, and filing of recruitment documents related to Global Fund recruitments.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Coordinator in sorting and digitally organizing files based on ARO guidance.
- Ensure that all hard copy personnel folders are arranged, and documents are in accordance with the Personnel file checklist.
- Perform activities to update personnel folders as per the Personnel file checklist.
- Support HR Coordinator- Recruitment in sorting, updating, and digitally storing recruitment files as per the Recruitment File checklist.
- Provide support to the HR department in various HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Number of Positions: 1 (Nepalese Citizen Only)
- Contract Length: 2 – 3 Months
- Location: Country Office, Kathmandu
