The Executive Council of Mid-West University has decided to fill the following vacant positions through a selection committee:
- One Assistant Professor for Molecular Lab under R&D Center
One Assistant Professor for Herbal Processing Unit
One Assistant Professor of English for English language editing in the overall publications and archives of Mid-West University
One Assistant Professor of Nepali for editing Nepali language in the overall publications and archives of Mid-West University
Minimum Requirements for Mid-West University Vacancy:
Applicants for the above-mentioned positions must meet the following minimum standards:
- For the Molecular Lab Assistant Professor, candidates must have experience working in Recombinant DNA Technology, Bioinformatics, and Pharmaceutical Company, and have practical knowledge of various molecular techniques. A master’s degree in a relevant subject is mandatory, along with applied knowledge.
For the Herbal Processing Unit Assistant Professor, candidates must have experience working with Medicinal Plants available in Karnali, including Biochemistry, Natural Products, Fragrance, Aromatics, and Herbal Medicines. They should also have a proven capacity to produce various related products immediately in the laboratory and have at least a master’s degree in the relevant subject.
For the English language Assistant Professor, candidates must hold a master’s degree in English from Mid-Western University or a recognized university and should have expertise in English language editing for academic publications and archives.
For the Nepali language Assistant Professor, candidates must hold a master’s degree in Nepali from Mid-Western University or a recognized university and should have expertise in editing the Nepali language for academic publications and archives.
