Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Notice 2081: Call for applications for Executive Director of Security Printing Center!

This notice has been published to submit applications from Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications as they have to be recommended for appointment to the post of Executive Director of Security Printing Center.
1. According to section 19 of the Security Printing Act, 2081, a person who meets the following qualifications can be a candidate for the post of Executive Director:
(a) having completed at least thirty years of age,
(b) Graduated from a recognized university in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology or Management.
(c) At least five years of experience at managerial level, (“managerial level” means joint secretary or sixteen or above in government service or tenth level or above in public organized organization or body or executive director or managing director in a company/organization registered as per law or above will indicate the experience of working in an executive position.)
(d) Not dismissed for disqualification for future government service or service of an institution wholly or partially owned by the Government of Nepal, State Government or local level,
(e) not having been convicted by a court of law for corruption, extortion, sexual violence, human trafficking and smuggling, narcotics, money laundering, passport misuse, kidnapping, organized crime or other criminal offenses of moral turpitude,
(f) Not having permanent residence permit or citizenship of any foreign country.
(G) Not found to be ineligible for appointment according to prevailing law.
2. Eligible candidates should submit their application to the recommendation committee by attaching the following documents:
(a) Application for opening of business for which appointment is to be made,
(b) personal details including qualification and experience,
(c) Copy of Certificate of Nepali Citizenship,
(d) Copy of educational qualification certificate (including equivalency certificate if qualification from foreign educational institution),
(e) Copy of experience opening certificate (showing period of service),
(f) Sealed professional action plan of at least 3000 to maximum 5000 words prepared on A4 size paper in Nepali language (Computer typed first page (Cover Page) with his name written at the top, other pages signed by the applicant on the back side, other front page name anywhere or there is no sign to identify him and also the presentation of professional action plan should be sealed in a separate envelope and submitted with the application).
(g) Self-declaration of not having obtained a permanent residence permit of a foreign country, etc.
(h) Copy of any other documents related to the post.
3. In case of citizenship, educational qualification and work experience certificate submitted along with the application, it should be certified by the applicant.
4. Last date for submission of application: Within 10 days from the date of publication of this notification. If there is a public holiday on that day, then the next office opening day.
5. Place of submission of application: Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Institute Coordination Branch, Singh Darbar.
6. A recommendation for appointment will be made based on the professional action plan submitted by the candidate, its presentation and evaluation of the interview.
7. No action will be taken on applications that are not received properly and are not received within time.
8. Along with the application, the candidate must also submit a self-declaration. Self-declaration format and approved procedure can be obtained from the Ministry’s website www.mocit.gov.np.
