- Application fee: Application form along with application fee is Rs.1000/- for officer level employees, Rs.700/- for assistant level fifth employees and Rs. 200/- should be submitted as application fee. The application must be submitted to the Revenue Administration Branch.
Educational Qualification, Experience, Age Limit:
A. For City Police Inspector
- Being a Nepalese citizen.
- Graduated from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
- Completed 21 years of age and not exceeding 24 years or not exceeding 44 years in case of former Janpath and Armed Police or Nepali Army retired from Police Inspector or similar post.
- Not having been convicted of any criminal charges involving moral turpitude.
- Health certificate issued by a recognized health institution.
- Character certificate issued by the concerned district or ward police.
- Height 5 feet 2 inches in case of men, chest 31 to 33, weight 50 Kg and in case of women 5 feet less weight 42 Kg, eyes not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
B. For Assistant Sub Inspectors of City Police
- Being a Nepalese citizen.
- Passed with Proficiency Certificate level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Completed 18 years of age and not exceeding 24 years or not exceeding 40 years in case of former Janpath and Armed Police or Nepali Army retired from Assistant Inspector or similar post.
- Not having been convicted of any criminal charges involving moral turpitude.
- Health certificate issued by a recognized health institution.
- Character certificate issued by the concerned district or ward police
- In case of men, height at least 5 feet 2 inches chest 21 to 33, weight 50 Kg and in case of women at least 5 feet weight 42 Kg, eyes not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
C. For City Police Constable
- Being a Nepalese citizen.
- Passed class 8 or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Age completed 18 years and less than 40 years.
- Not having been convicted of any criminal charges involving moral turpitude.
- Health certificate issued by a recognized health institution.
- Character certificate issued by the concerned district or ward police.
- Height 5 feet 2 inches for men, chest 31 to 33, weight 50 Kg and weight 42 Kg for women, eyes not more than minus 2 or plus 2. Candidate’s personal details, certified copy of educational qualification, certified copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, certified copy of experience to be attached to the application must be signed and verified by the candidate himself.
D. In case of tribal tribes, Madhesi, Tharu, Dalit, backward areas, a certified document issued by the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the concerned local level.
