National Rural and Community Development Center (NARCDEC) New Vacancy 2080 for Program Officer, In-reach Worker

National Rural and Community Development Center (NARCDEC) Nepal is a non-governmental, non-profit social organization established in 2056. Since its inception, the organization has implemented various projects in integrated rural development, water supply and sanitation, climate change adaptation, good governance, education, health, animal husbandry and income generation, support for conflict victims and affected families and children, environmental protection, disaster management, and institutional and skill development in different areas of the country.

We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions for the HIV/TB Prevention for Migrants and their Spouses program, conducted at the community level in Gulmi and Palpa districts. This program is financially supported by the Global Fund/Save the Children International. Eligible Nepali citizens, who are at least 18 years old, are invited to submit their applications within 07 (seven) days from the date of publication of this notification.

Required educational qualification and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in public health (BPH) or any other subject with a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the field of HIV prevention.
• Proficiency in computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email & Internet), data analysis, and report writing.

Required educational qualification and experience:

• C.M.A. ANM, Lab Assistant, Passed as Social Mobilization and 1 year work experience in the field related to HIV, TB.
• Good operational knowledge of community HIV and TB, able to conduct participatory programs, prevention programs, and HIV testing camps at the community level in any municipality.

Place of Application Submission: Please submit your personal details (Bio-data) and application to either the National Rural and Community Development Center Nepal Central Office in Gulmi Tamghas or the Field Office in Tansen Palpa. • The organization will shortlist the applications received, and only the shortlisted candidates will be invited for the examination. Candidates must submit copies of their educational qualifications, training and experience certificates, and citizenship certificates.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the related fields of women, dalit, tribal, local, and public health.
• The date of the examination (written, practical, and interview) will be announced later.
• The last date for submitting/sending applications is within office hours on 04/07/2080. If the last day of application falls on a holiday, the following day will be considered.
• Applications received after the prescribed period will not be considered.
