IT/Research Support Officer
- Level: Junior Officer
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support within the Association, ensuring smooth functioning of IT systems and addressing technical issues;
- Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly data analysis of banks, comparing and scrutinizing various key financial indicators to identify the trends and patterns;
- Collate and update various data as per the requirement;
- Create, administer, monitor, and maintain data from multiple sources;
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and publications;
- Design and create newsletters, leaflets and brochures to support NBA’s communication initiatives;
- Desing banners and forms for various purposes;
- Update the NBA website with relevant content, news, and announcements.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends which may be relevant to the banking industry;
- Conduct any other additional duties handed time-to-time by the ED.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support;
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware;
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign);
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications with excellence in Excel;
- Excellent research and analytical skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Knowledge of banking industry preferred;
- Candidates having valid two-wheeler license preferred.
- Desirable Skills:
- Experience in providing technical support in research activities;
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies;
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress;
- Familiarity with Cpanel;
- Knowledge with SEO best practices;
- Experience in supporting research activities and competitive analysis.
