Application Form (Revenue/Fee):

For Inspector of Police:

  • Online Application Fee: Rs. 1,200/-
  • Additional Fee for Mixed Group Applicants: An extra 20% (i.e., Rs. 240/-) for each group

For Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI):

  • Application Fee: Rs. 500/-
  • Additional Fee for Multiple Group Applicants: An added 20% (i.e., Rs. 100/-) for each group

Age Limit Criteria:

For Inspector of Police:

  • General Age Limit: 20 to 25 years as of the last application date
  • Eligibility for Gazetted Police Personnel, Technical Police Personnel, and Open Competition

For ASI:

  • General Age Limit: 18 to 24 years as of the last application date
  • Eligibility for Non-Gazetted Police Personnel, Police Constables, and In-Service Non-Category Personnel

Inspector of Police: Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation/Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent
  • Criminal Record: Must have no criminal convictions indicating moral turpitude
  • Human Rights Record: Must not have violated human rights and humanitarian laws
  • Political Affiliation: Must not be a member of any political party
  • Terrorist Organization Affiliation: Must not be associated with any terrorist organization
  • Physical Requirements: Specific height, chest measurement, weight, and eye vision criteria
  • Health Certificate: Required from an approved doctor
  • Nationality: Must be a Nepalese citizen

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI): Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: Certificate level (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized university or educational institution
  • Other Qualifications: Similar to the Inspector of Police requirements (see criteria)
