For the purpose of appointing Legal Advisor on contract service in Nepal Police Welfare Fund, Naxal, interested Nepali citizens who meet the following qualifications may apply within 7 (seven) days (B.S. 2081 Magh 14, or the next day if that day falls on a public holiday) from the date of publication of this notice (B.S. 2081 Magh 14, or if that day falls on a public holiday, the next day) to Nepal Police Headquarters, Welfare Division, Naxal from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM or submit a scanned copy through kalyan@nepalpolice.gov.np. 1. Position: Legal Advisor
2. Minimum Qualifications for Candidates: The following qualifications should be met for the post of Legal Advisor of the Police Welfare Fund:
(a) Must have completed a master’s degree in law from any university or institute,
(b) Advocate or senior advocate with at least ten years of professional experience,
(c) Not convicted of a criminal offense,
(d) Not a member of any political party at the time of application,
(e) Not having any kind of conflict of interest with the Fund,
(f) Must have completed 35 years of age and not exceeded 55 years of age on the last date of application.
3. Documents to be submitted with the application:
(a) Self-attested copy of Nepali citizenship,
(b) Self-attested copies of documents related to educational qualifications,
(c) Certified copies of documents showing experience in working in government/non-government offices,
(d) Self-declaration letter as per clauses (c), (d) and (e) of point 1,
(e) Commitment letter to work full-time in the fund for the duration of the term of office of the said post if selected as Legal Advisor.
4. Basis of evaluation: Interview.
5. Application may be cancelled: If any false or forged documents are found to have been submitted, the selection committee may cancel the application of the candidate at any stage.
6. Tenure, service conditions and facilities of Legal Advisor: Will be as per the Police Welfare Fund Operation Procedure, 2080.
