Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a project of United Mission to Nepal Medical and Development Trust (UMN MDT), working in communities for the health, education, and self-reliance of those living in poverty in Nepal, carrying out other social service work for the public good. It is a 50-bed general hospital east of Kathmandu providing quality and affordable healthcare to the people of Okhaldhunga and surrounding districts – including general medicine and surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics, and gynaecology. Associated programmes of the hospital include community-based rehabilitation, mental health, and the Okhaldhunga School of Health Sciences which trains staff nurses (PCL Nursing).

New Lab Assistant Job Vacancy 2023 in Details

Position: Lab Assistant (Grade level 4)

Required No.: 1

Main Role (New Lab Assistant Job Vacancy 2023)

Work in OCH laboratory performing requested lab tests for inpatients and outpatients, under the supervision of the Lab-in-Charge.

New Lab Assistant Job Vacancy 2023 Qualification:

Technical SLC in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Preferred Experience for New Lab Assistant Job Vacancy 2023:

One or two years of working as a laboratory assistant would be an advantage, but not essential.

Salary and benefits are according to OCH standards.
