| The United States Peace Corps seeks an Environment Program Specialist (EnPS) to serve as a personal services contractor based in Kathmandu. |
Position: Environment Program Specialist (EnPS)

| Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s Degree in forestry, environmental or related field. |
| Minimum of four years of work experience in the environment, forestry, or related field | |
| Fluency in both written and spoken Nepali and English. | |
| Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) | |
| Desired Qualifications | Experience working alongside village community members on locally prioritized projects in Nepal. |
| Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following skills | |
| Environmental education, solid waste management, community forestry, alternative energy, improved cookstoves. | |
| Knowledgeable about community/participatory assessment tools, designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluation of community projects. | |
| Good presentation skills. | |
| Experience of working and/or interacting with government officials at the provincial and local levels. | |
| Experience working with an international organization and/or with foreigners. | |
| Experience working with or supporting volunteers. | |
