This Nepal Public Health Research and Development Center (PHRD) has been set up to collect on-site data for the Nepal Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2081 (Nepal Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2024) which is going to be conducted by the National Statistics Office in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF Nepal) is going to take the following positions and number of persons on contract from the interested Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the prescribed qualifications within 10 (ten) days from the date of publication of this notice by downloading and filling the application form available on the website of this organization www.phrdnepal.org.np along with the necessary documents. This notification is published for the information of all concerned as the contact email can be submitted through vacancy.phrdnepal@gmail.com or the application form can be submitted at the office of this organization. No action will be taken on late or late applications. 

1. Post: Female Ganak

• Demand Number: 52
• Required Minimum Educational Qualification: Proficiency Certificate (10th grade 2) from a recognized educational institution or equivalent (mathematics or statistics subject preferred)
• Selection Method: Shortlisting and Interview based on experience and minimum educational qualification
• Contract Period: Maximum 6 months (including 1 month training)

2. Post: Male Ganak

• Demand Number: 22
• Required Minimum Educational Qualification: Proficiency Certificate (10th grade 2) from a recognized educational institution or equivalent (mathematics or statistics subject preferred)
• Selection Method: Shortlisting and Interview based on experience and minimum educational qualification
• Contract Period: Maximum 6 months (including 1 month training)

3. Post: Measurer

• Demand Number: 17
• Required Minimum Educational Qualification: Proficiency Certificate (10 marks 2) level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution (Biology or Chemistry will be preferred)
• Selection Method: Shortlisting and Interview based on experience and minimum educational qualification
• Contract Period: Maximum 6 months (including 1 month training)

Documents to be submitted with the application:

• Attested copy of required minimum educational qualification certificate and character certificate.
• Certified copy of Nepali citizenship.
• Attested copies of experience certificates.

Other information

1) The list of shortlisted persons and interview date will be informed through the website of this organization: www.phrdnepal.org.np.

2) Place of work: Collecting on-site data from any local level and any team across Nepal who are selected for the survey sample.

3) Job Description:

• Ganak (Female/Male)
  • Go to the designated enumeration area of ​​the designated local level and collect data through a certain format and Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) method.
  • Perform other tasks as specified.
• Measurer:
  • Measure the weight and height of children under 5 years of age in the designated enumeration area of ​​the designated local level
  • Testing the quality of drinking water used by households.
    Perform other tasks as specified.

4) Age: Completed 18 years on the last day of application and not exceeding 35 years in case of male and not exceeding 40 years in case of female.

5) Service facilities: Government of Nepal’s R.P. Anum. Starting Pay Scale of Grade II Employees. Daily allowance and travel expenses will be provided in accordance with the regulations of Nepal government’s prevailing travel expenses regulations while working for on-site data collection work.

6) The organization will prepare a shortlist of applicants based on the following and call them for an interview.

• 2 points for working in the Nepal Multi-Indicator Survey conducted by the National Statistics Office in the past.
• 2 marks for passing in preferred subject in minimum educational qualification.
• A maximum of 3 marks based on the category/grade passed in the minimum educational qualification.

7) More than 30% more than the specified number of people will not be shortlisted except in case of equal marks.
