1. Job Position: Investment Officer
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Manage liquidity to meet investment objectives
- Collaborate with various departments
- Provide recommendations to departments heads for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct analysis and research on projects and investments
- Ensure investments are made in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department
- Qualifications and Skills
- Semi qualified CA/ACCA
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of the investment market
- Relevant work experience is prioritized
2. Job Position: Internal Control Officer
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop control mechanisms to mitigate risk of fraud
- Monitor and balance the ongoing day-to-day work of each department branch
- Visit company branches for monitoring as per the schedule and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide suggestions to department heads for improving control modules
- Act as a mediator during internal and external audit processes
- Write reports and follow up on recommendations from the Board of Directors, internal, and external auditors
- Qualifications and Skills
- Semi qualified CA/ACCA
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be familiar with audit procedures
- Knowledge of the Insurance Act, Company Act, Labor Act, and other relevant acts and regulations is required
- Relevant work experience is prioritized
- Reports to Internal Control Head
3. Job Position: IT Officer
- Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure (LAN and WAN), including servers, networks, and computer systems
- Provide technical support to department, staff, hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and updated software and hardware as required
- Ensure the security of The IT systems and data through regular updates, backups, and security measures
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Provide training and support to users on new technologies and systems
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to suggest improvements
- Provide support on life Insurance Core software and other applications
- Troubleshoot/analyze computer systems to identify and eliminate performance bugs and hardware malfunction
- Familiar with relational database management systems and able to generate custom reports
- Ensure the effective operation of all necessary ICT system with ICT policy and international best practice to maintain complete ICT systems management
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Line Manager
- Person Specification or Technical Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Previous experience in IT or a similar role is preferrable in Insurance industry
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems
- Familiarization on Cisco, MikroTik and Fortinet networking environment
- Strong knowledge of Database management systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, learning ability, to work under pressure and for extended time
- Preference shall be given to candidate who have global certifications like A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, ITIL, CEH or database certification etc.
- Reports to IT Head
