According to the Raksirang Gaunpalika (Rural Municipality) Police (Operation and Management) Procedure, 2060, applications were previously invited for various posts of municipal police on a contractual basis.
The selection exam for candidates who duly applied under various published advertisements has been conducted. However, due to insufficient applications received within the stipulated period for the demanded positions as per the institution mentioned below, these posts could not be filled.
Therefore, this notification is published to inform all concerned that Nepalese citizens who have retired from the Government of Nepal’s military, armed, or civil police services or have at least 5 years of experience and meet the required qualifications are invited to apply in the prescribed format within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of this notice. The application form will be available free of charge on the office’s website at www.raksirangmun.gov.np.

Position: Municipal Police Constable (Nagar Prahari)

- Required Qualifications:
- Must have completed 18 years of age and not exceeded 40 years by the date of publication.
- Must have passed the eighth grade or equivalent from a recognized educational institution.
- Must not have been convicted of any criminal offense showing moral turpitude.
- Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
- Chest measurement of at least 33 inches when expanded and 31 inches when not expanded.
- Vision should not be weaker than minus or plus 2.
- Must have obtained a health certificate from a recognized institution.
- Must have retired from the position of constable or equivalent, or have at least 5 years of service experience.
- Selection Process: Written test, physical fitness test, and interview.
- Examination Schedule: Will be published later.
- Application Submission Deadline: Until office hours on 2081/04/28. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Job Responsibilities: Must work as per the terms and conditions related to the Municipal Police service.
- Service Facilities and Other Details: Will be according to the decision of the Rural Municipality.
