Rural Social Welfare Association Nepal Vacancy 2080 in Jajarkot
Association for Rural Social Welfare Nepal (ARSOW Nepal), the leading NGO based in Kavre district working in the various sectors i.e. WASH, Livelihoods, Social Mobilization, Recovery and Reconstruction and Disaster Risk Reduction/Management.
Currently, ARSOW Nepal is seeking qualified, result oriented and self motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions under its Strengthening Actions for Reconstruction and Recovery Project in Jajarkot, Nepal (SABAL Project) in partnership with by Fondation de France (FDF) on Reconstruction and WASH in Bheri Municipality of Jajarkot district. Candidates meeting mentioned criteria are highly encouraged to apply for the positions.

Qualifications/experience required
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or any discipline in with minimum 5 years professional experience in earthquake resistant design and construction of buildings. Civil Engineering in same field is preferred,
Work experience in community led building projects will be an advantage.
Substantial knowledge on Building reconstruction, DRR, WASH and other development sector.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software is a must.
Understanding of earthquake-resistant design and construction of stone masonry, confined masonry, reinforced masonry, and timber buildings
Good interpersonal communication, facilitation, presentation & coordination skills with excellent English language,
Willingness to work remote areas.
Work experience in community led building projects will be an advantage,
Familiar with different areas of construction as well as workplace safety and building codes an added advantage,
Familiar with government policies/guidelines related to house construction
Prior experience and understanding of humanitarian response and recovery.
Able to ride two wheeler.

Diploma in Civil engineering with 5 Years’ experience/Bachelor in Civil Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience

Experience on socio and technical skill in working with community groups in housing and community development
Ability to work under pressure and ready to work long hours if required

Good knowledge on financial/account system of NGOs,

Comprehensive knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in core financial management activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Sound knowledge and experience of fund management,
Strong numeracy skills and attention to details.
Able to operate accounting software-tally/FINMEN and have strong proven experience in using Excel Spreadsheets.
