About SAHAMATI
SAHAMATI is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making social development organization. Established in 2001 by a group of development professionals, SAHAMATI is recognized as a capable and committed national level organization for community plus humane development.
SAHAMATI aims to implement “Disaster Resilient Youth and Women Entrepreneurship Project” in Gorkha and Nawalprasi (Bardaghat Susta West) districts to ‘increase knowledge and skills of youth and women for establishing resilient enterprises’.
It has emphasized three key components:
1) strengthen youth and women led enterprises and their resilience to multiple hazards, risks and vulnerabilities present in their communities through business continuity plan;
2) improve the profitability of youth and women led small and micro enterprises considering the hazards, risk and vulnerabilities (resilient to the disasters) and
3) improve access to financial services when needed by their enterprise and gain financial resiliency. The project period will be tentatively two years long.

SAHAMATI Job Vacancy in Details:
Position: Private Sector Engagement Officer
Required Number: 1 (One)
Duty Station: Filed Based (Gorkha and/or Nawalparasi)
SAHAMATI Job Vacancy Required Qualification:
- At bachelor’s degree on related sectors,
- have excellent computer skill,
- and 7 years of experience in in community development sector,
- mostly related to access to finance,
- DRR and Enterprise development activities.
- Along with desire qualification and experience the candidate should have strong commitment and interest to work on issues related to agriculture, livestock, resilient livelihood, SMEs, marketing, networking, dealing and motivating private sector and should have willingness working in flexible and rushing working atmosphere.
- The candidate should be able to travel in mid hills and terai settings with motorbike or public vehicle.
- Must have valid driving license for motorbike.
Positions: Agriculture Technician (JTA)
Required Numbers: 2 (Two)
Duty Station: Gorkha and/or Nawalparasi(west)
SAHAMATI Job Vacancy Required Qualifications:
- At completed JT/A or corresponding in agriculture/ Livestock on related sectors,
- have basic computer skill,
- and 5 years of experience in in community development sector,
- mostly related to access to finance,
- DRR and Enterprise development activities.
- Along with desire qualification and experience the candidate should have strong commitment and interest to work on issues related to agriculture livestock, resilient livelihood, SMEs, marketing, networking, dealing and motivating private sector
- and should have willingness working in flexible and rushing working atmosphere.
- The candidate should be able to travel in mid hills and terai with public vehicle or by foot.
Positions: Social Mobilizer
Required Number: 1 (One)
Duty Station: Gorkha and/or Nawalparasi (west)
SAHAMATI Job Vacancy Required qualification:
- At completed 10+2 (intermediate) or correspondent or equivalent in agriculture/ Livestock on related sectors
- and 3 years of experience in in community development sector,
- mostly related to access to finance,
- DRR and Enterprise development activities.
- Along with desire qualification and experience the candidate should have strong commitment and interest to work on issues related to agriculture livestock, resilient livelihood, SMEs, marketing, networking, dealing and motivating private sector and should have willingness working in flexible and rushing working atmosphere.
- The candidate should be able to travel in mid hills and terai with public vehicle or by foot.
