Sanima Bank seeks applications from highly motivated, creative, result oriented and competent Nepalese citizens for following position.

Information Security

The candidate will play a direct role in safeguarding the bank’s information assets by consistently assessing the security posture, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending positive changes to address them. Candidate should possess qualities that contribute to penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, while also providing guidance to the team for enhancing the organization’s security posture through use of Firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and IDS/IPS.

The candidate should be a dynamic security professional who thrives on taking ownership of challenges and implementing innovative security solutions to minimizing the overall security expenditure of the bank.

Major Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and guiding the security architecture, design, implementation, and operational direction according to the security roadmap
• Monitoring the information system and analyzing attack vectors and developing solutions for emerging threats.
• Recommend appropriate solutions to fix the detected vulnerabilities to ensure the security standard of the bank.
• Ensuring the regular vulnerability assessment and penetration testing program of the bank.
• Comprehensive information security awareness program to be developed and executed according to the latest security threats.
• Ensure the implementation of NRB guidelines and industry best practices which includes developing the information security and cyber resilience guidelines of the bank.
• Owning the implementation of multiple cybersecurity projects and identifying requirements needed to meet our security and risk management objectives
• Ensuring alignment between security architecture frameworks and standards and overall business strategy
• A good team player, who always believes in team work and focused on shared results.
• A highly dependable “doer” who can work with little supervision while being resilient to change
• A good listener who can check your ego at the door, allowing you to receive and provide candid feedback and criticism
