Position: Draft Person/Drafting Technician
- Job Location: Kathmandu/Project Site
- Employment Type: Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Create civil engineering drawings for hydropower structures using AutoCAD or similar drafting systems.
- Prepare reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules for hydropower projects.
- Generate plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed structural drawings.
- Create topographical maps from survey data, depicting elevations, contours, and features.
- Develop 3D models of structures using AutoCAD, Sketchup, or similar 3D software.
- Perform quantity calculations, cost estimations, and Bill of Quantity (BoQ) preparation.
- Conduct site visits, gather data, and compile site visit reports.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Education/Experience: Intermediate level in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or Technical School training in engineering drawing, or 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English and Nepalese.
