Job Post: Climate Change Adviser

• Required No. 1 (One)
• Term: Fixed term
• Locations: Based on Country Office, Kathmandu

Brief Description

SCI is looking for an outstanding candidate to least, inspire, innovate and support the Co to improve its understanding, commitment and action towards Climate change, The post holder will provide overall vision and strategic direction to save the children climate change programming in Nepal and Bhutan; will drive the integration of climate change across all of  SCI’s thematic areas as well as work closely with the advocacy, Communication. Campaigns and Media (ACCM) team to shape messaging to Climate Change.

Eligibility

Master’s degree or equivalent in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Public Administration, or equivalent and minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI group) of demonstrated experience in any areas of expertise of which at least 5 years directly relevant work experience in Climate Change in advisory or implementation role at an international NGO or similar organization .

Job Post: Partnership and safer Program Coordinator

• Term: Fixed term
• Location: Based on Surkhet, MFWFO and Bardibas, EFO

Brief Description

Responsible to support field management team for overall management and strengthening of partnerships management in line with the SCI partnership strategy framework; also, equally responsible to build capacity of SCI and partner on safer programming in direction with the CO Safeguarding Focal Person and collaboration with different departments and project teams.

Eligibility

Master’s degree in Social Science, Law or equivalent with minimum of 3 years ( 2years for GSI group ) of relevant experience in INGOs or Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years ( 3 years for GSI group) of relevant experience in INGOs.
