SEE and Class 12 Examination Postponed

The National Examination Board (NEB) has postponed the SEE and Class 12 examinations. The NEB board meeting held on Monday has decided to postpone the SEE examination to be conducted from Jeshta 13 and the class 12 examination to be conducted from Jeshta 26.

Chairman of the NEB board Chandra Mani Poudel informed that both the examinations have been postponed till further notice.

As the rate of Corona infection is increasing day by day and there are Prohibitory orders (Lockdown) in most of the districts of the country, it has been informed that the examination has been postponed till the situation improves.

Chairman also informed that the board members have decided to prepare the examination model and submit it to the board within the next 15 days. The board meeting has also formed a five-member task force to study the conduct of SEE and Class 12 examinations.

 A task force has been formed under the coordination of Director-General of the Center for Education and Human Resource Development Baikuntha Aryal. The board has stated that a task force has been formed to decide the modalities of proceeding in case the corona’s infection persists and the examination is not conducted in physical presence.
