JOB PROFILE:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop and test applications using the .NET platform
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality API services to support third party applications
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that adheres to industry standard best practices
- Troubleshoot software defects, providing timely and effective solutions
- Stay up-to-date on technologies in .NET environment adhering to knowledge sharing in team
- Implement security measures and authentication protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data transmitted through APIs
- Ensure to contribute on continuous improvement of development processes, tools and domain knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
- Experience in developing Microsoft ASP.NET/C# applications using MVC 4, .NET core 3 or higher, HTML/jQuery/CSS and Ajax Techniques, MSSQL DB queries, procedures
- Experience with API authentication methods, such as OAuth and JWT
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge on RESTful API, SOAP, Web API and entity framework
- Knowledge of data formats like JSON and XML
- Knowledge on front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of General Banking domain e.g. Finacle Integrator (FI), ISO 8583
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with client and team members
