Thakurbaba Nagarpalika New Vacancy 2080 for Teacher for Teacher Bank

Thakurbaba Municipality, Office of the Municipal Executive, located in the beautiful region of Lumbini Province, Nepal, has announced an urgent call for school teachers. They have recognized that recent vacancies and long labor periods, as dictated by the Education Act, have interrupted regular teaching practices. To address this, the municipality has proposed the establishment of a teacher’s bank, a unique and effective solution that will ensure continuous and quality education for students.

The primary aim of the teachers’ bank is to fill vacant posts quickly with subject-specific teachers from a pre-prepared waiting list. This system ensures no interruption to student learning, regardless of any sudden vacancies that may arise.

Acting on the decision of the City Education Committee on 2080/04/10, Thakurbaba Municipality invites applications from qualified and dedicated individuals who wish to join the teachers’ bank. The application deadline is 2080/04/28.

Teacher Job Vacancy Details for Teacher Bank

Secondary Level (Class 9-12):

  • Nepali: 5 positions
  • Mathematics: 5 positions
  • Science: 5 positions
  • Social Studies: 5 positions
  • English: 5 positions Total: 25 positions

Basic Level (Class 1-8):

  • Nepali: 5 positions
  • Mathematics: 5 positions
  • Science: 5 positions
  • Social Studies: 5 positions
  • English: 5 positions Total: 25 positions

Basic Level (Class 1-5): 

  • Required:10 positions

Early Child Development (ECD): 

  • Required: 5 positions

Total Vacancies: 65 positions

Eligibility and Application Requirements

Interested candidates are required to submit:

  1. A copy of their Nepali Citizenship Certificate
  2. Proof of a teacher’s permit (candidates with this will be given priority)
  3. Proof of teaching experience, if any
  4. Copies of educational qualifications and certificates that align with the criteria set by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC)
  5. Application fee, varying based on the level of teaching:
    • Early Child Development and Education: NPR 300
    • Basic (Class 1-5): NPR 500
    • Basic (Class 1-8): NPR 700
    • Secondary (Class 9-12): NPR 1,000

Examination and Service Facilities

The type of examination will be as per the syllabus and guidelines provided by the Teacher Service Commission. From the day of the appointment, teachers will receive service benefits similar to city teachers.
