Tuki Association Sunkoshi (TASK) is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization working in Sindhupalchok since 1992 and dedicated towards improving livelihoods, education, protection, social security, disability inclusion, health & nutrition, good governance, gender & social inclusion, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation specially for the wellbeing of poor and marginalized community.
It has been implementing several projects by coordinating and co- partnering with different organizations and local governments focusing on children, women and marginalized rural communities aiming to set holistic development goals.
Tuki Association Sunkoshi is going to implement “Promoting Gender Equity and Safety in School (PGESS) Project” in targeted schools of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok district with financial Support of ChildFund Japan Nepal office (CFJ-NO). With regard to ensuring enabling environment for children, PGESS project intends to provide safe learning environment at school and community in terms of all forms of gender-based violence.
For successful implementation of this PGESS project, TASK is seeking qualified and well experienced Nepali citizens (female candidate) for the following position.

2. Job Post: Project Assistant (PA)
TASK is implementing a project related with Functional/physical rehabilitation of Physio Therapy Unit, economic inclusion, social protection, community-based climate change adaptations and resilience in partnership with Handicap International Federation Nepal – Humanity and Inclusion (HI). The primary impact group of the project are person with disabilities including women and children and other vulnerable People in Melamchi municipality Sindhupalchok district of Bagmati province with the aim to improve the quality of life of person with disability and vulnerable people with a holistic approach including of community-based climate adaptions. Thus, TASK is seeking qualified and well experienced Nepali citizens (female candidate) for the following position.

The Project Assistant – (PA-DI & CCA) will support operationalizing the strategic vision to align the economic inclusion, Disability Inclusion & Climate Change Adaptation of the project. The PA–DI and CCA is responsible for essential actions that humanitarian actors must take in order to effectively identify and respond to the needs and rights of persons with disabilities, who are most at risk of being left behind in humanitarian settings.
Key Responsibility
- Identify the rehabilitation, social and economic inclusion, and accessibility need of persons with disabilities and vulnerable people.
- Support to conduct inclusive climate vulnerability and capacity Assessments.
- Support to identify and support small scale community-based mitigation measures that address and reduce the economic and health impact of the climate change.
- Support and develop linkage with local-level social protection provision-related stakeholders.
- Supporting Knowledge Management and knowledge sharing within program and admin/finance teams and across the entire organization
- Completing other responsibilities as requested by the Program Coordinator.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Academic Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum of diploma in health (CMA, HA, ANM or Staff Nurse) with proven experience in disability rights promotion, disability inclusion, accessibility activities and facilitating and supporting in physiotherapy Service Unit of health facilities will be an advantage.
- Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Ability to work under pressure
- Two-wheeler driving license with experience of off-road driving will be an added value.
