Vacancy Announcement: Nucleus for Empowerment through Skill Transfer (NEST Nepal)
About NEST: Established in 2003, Nucleus for Empowerment through Skill Transfer (NEST) is a professional Nepali NGO that emerged from the former Rural Development Center (RDC) of UMN (United Mission to Nepal). NEST is driven by the belief that skill transfer can combat poverty and contribute to the creation of a better society. Through the execution of diverse social and community development projects, NEST is dedicated to enhancing the socioeconomic status and dignity of marginalized and impoverished individuals in Nepal.
NEST’s Latest Project: NEST is currently embarking on a project proposal aimed at improving the agricultural income of farming families in the hilly areas of Gandaki Province. To bring this project to fruition, NEST warmly invites applications from qualified and capable candidates for the following positions:
Post: Junior Technical (JT) Level
- Number of Positions: Multiple
- Required Qualifications:
- I.Sc. Agriculture/JT or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience in farmers’ group mobilization and agriculture extension, OR
- TSLC/JTA or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in farmers’ group mobilization and agriculture extension.
- Preferable Age: Not exceeding 45 years
- Residency: Permanent residents of Gandaki Province will have an advantage
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and English language communication skills
