Kohalpur Municipality announces an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about animal health and welfare. In line with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock’s federal program for fiscal year 2080/081, we invite applications for the position of a Veterinarian under the “One Municipality One Veterinary” initiative. This is a contract-based role aimed at enhancing local veterinary services in Lumbini Pradesh, Nepal.

Position: Veterinarian ( Veterinary Doctor)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a graduate degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized university or institution.
• Registration: Mandatory registration with the relevant council.

Application Process

• Application Fee: Rs. 1,000
• Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 7 days from the date of this announcement during office hours.
• Required Documents: Applicants need to attach the following self-certified documents:
  • Nepalese citizenship certificate.
  • Educational certificates, including merit and character certificates.
  • Council registration certificate.
  • Three passport-size photographs.
  • Work-related experience certificates, if any.

Selection Procedure

• Examination Type: The selection process includes the publication of a Short List, followed by a Written Examination and an Interview.
• Course Outline: The examination will be conducted as per the first paper of Nepal Agricultural Service, Veterinary Group, for Gazetted third category posts.

Service Facility and Description: The role and benefits will be governed as per the Agricultural Graduate Technical Operation Procedure, 2080, at the local level.
