Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women’s human rights and to ensure women empowerment through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns against violence against women, and women’s economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. Our working districts with offices are spread over Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dang, Kailali, Rukum and additional working districts are Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Kanchanpur, Jajarkot, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok and Saptari district. Office Assistant-Dhanusha

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails, and ensure timely distribution to relevant staff.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and stakeholders, providing a professional and welcoming reception.
- Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate personnel, and take messages accurately.
- Respond to inquiries from staff and external parties in a timely and courteous manner.
- Manage the office email account, handling inquiries and forwarding messages to relevant staff members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office space, including common areas, meeting rooms, and kitchen facilities.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment, such as printers, photocopiers, and fax machines, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Liaise with building management and external service providers for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Assist with the setup and coordination of office events, meetings, and conferences.
- Enter data accurately into electronic databases and systems, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of information.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility of documents.

District Coordinator- Kailali, Dang, Sarlahi

The District Coordinator (DC) reports directly to Executive Director (ED) works in close coordination with program and finance department. The DC takes lead role and works in close coordination with the Program manager, Coordinators, Program Officers and other staffs in achieving the goal and objectives of WOREC. She is mainly responsible for organizational development and management, program development, implementation and quality management, documentation, stakeholder communications and coordination with local stakeholders. She oversees the district program themes: Human Rights and Social Justice, Ecological Justice and Women’s Leadership and Quality care in an integrated approach including planning, implementation, monitoring and tracking all projects that have specified deliverables.
Program Coordinator- Kathmandu

- Job location: Based in Kathmandu extensive travel to Sarlahi, Mahottari and Dhanusha, Dang and Kailali districts.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and implementation of the project aimed at empowering women and youth leaders, advocating for rights to mobility, decent work, and social security, enhancing resilience to climate change, and generating knowledge for advocacy. The Coordinator will ensure that project activities are implemented effectively, in line with the project objectives, and within the allocated budget and timeframe.
Program Officer- Rukum
Brief Position Description:
The Program Officer will work under direct supervision from the Project and Grant Coordinator. She will also perform the duties and responsibilities of coordination with the Program Coordinator, Women Friendly safe Space team, and other program team members of WOREC’s program districts. She should provide support during the event organization, overall data collection, and report collection from the field. This position will also work to collect the monthly GBV data from the safe Spaces run with the support of the humanitarian response project in different districts and also will collect the case stories, and success stories from project districts; compile the stories; edit them to make them concise and readable and share with concerned Program Coordinator. Preparation and documentation of reports and data on legal aids, livelihood option supports, and behavioral change-focused services will be tracked by this position. These all works will enhance the overall data management and reporting aspect of the project in close coordination with the district.
