Responsibilities:
| Financial Reporting | Prepare and analyze accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. |
| Budgeting and Forecasting | Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, track financial performance against budgets, and provide insightful analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and projections. |
| Tax Compliance | Manage and oversee tax-related matters, including preparing and filing tax returns. Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities. |
| Audit Support | Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process. |
| Internal Controls | Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. |
| Financial Analysis | Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial performance and trends. |
| Compliance and Regulatory Reporting | Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Prepare and submit required regulatory reports accurately and on time. |
| Treasury Management | Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and investment activities. Optimize banking relationships and explore opportunities to enhance financial performance. |
Qualifications:
| A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. |
| Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. |
| Proven experience as a Chartered Accountant in a reputable organization. |
| Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting. |
| Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. |
| Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. |
| Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. |
| High attention to detail and accuracy. |
