CIC together with Habitat for Humanity International Nepal is going to implement Safe & Durable Bamboo Housing Solutions for Eastern Nepal, Resilient Inclusive Sustainable Eastern Nepal (RISEN), Home Equal Campaign and Empowering Indigenous & Dalit Communities of Nepal through Safe Shelter Project in Dhanusha District. Key Responsibilities:
| IT Officer is responsible to support District committee ofNational Land Commission, Dhanusha, and Local Governments for facilitation of land survey/mapping and data management in general. Particularly, s/he supports capacity building of Municipal facilitation committees and land service centres to process and document data related to landless and unmanaged informal settlers including the lands they have been operating on and the lands identified to be distributed to them through National Land Commission;raises awareness on land tenure security, sustainable land use, land related services; and support increating systematic land database. S/he closely works with Local Governments and National Land Commission, Dhanusha District. |
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
| Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer science or related field with at least 2 years work experience in MS office, Data entry and Active directory or project management including planning, monitoring and reporting. |
| Good Knowledge and understanding on land demarcation and housing data. |
| Proven experience in an IT or technical support role and ability to multitask and problem solve. |
