NELUMBO-Nepal Vacancy for Finance Officer, Ear Care Practitioner
Nepalese Ultra Poor Marginalized and Biodiversity Organization Nepal (NELUMBO, NEPAL) is a non-governmental organization that operates in the field of health, education, and environment in the Gandaki Province of Nepal. NELUMBO, NEPAL is looking for qualified and motivated Nepali citizens who is between the ages of 18 and 35 for the following positions:
I. Post Title: Finance Officer

Purpose of the Job:
| The job holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing the financial work, and day-to-day management of the organization, and supporting the Board, and the Program Coordinator to run the organization smoothly through closely working with all NELUMBO, NEPAL staff. The job holder is responsible for budgeting, reporting and analyzing the expenses, and also responsible for the development, revision and/or update of the organizational financial policies based on national policy. |
Required Qualifications and Skills:
| Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or commerce |
| Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing finances and hands-on experience working with I/NGOs. |
| High-level knowledge in dealing with audits, tax-related matters and issues. |
| Good knowledge of handling financial software, MS- Excel, and other desirable software. |
| Good written and spoken Nepali and English. |
II. Post Title: Ear Care Practitioner
| Required Number | 1 |
Purpose of the Job:
| The job holder will provide triage of ear outpatients, offer basic diagnostic ear services and arrange referrals for audiology and other investigations and therapies before doctor review. The job holder will offer simple ear therapies, ear syringing, dressings, and ear micro-suction, also support medical staff in health camps and teach patients basic ear care. The job holder will develop a network of services with other primary healthcare organisations health volunteers, and government schools and create and run screening and awareness programs. |
Required Qualifications and Skills:
| Health Assistant, experience with people with ear conditions or hearing loss or in ENT clinics. |
| Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care. |
| Highly interested in teaching local health personnel, the community, and the students about the Ear and their Care. |
| High motivation to work in community-based activities. |
| Good written and spoken Nepali and English. |
