Ranger and Facilitator Job Vacancy 2080 at Division Forest Office, Gulmi

Division Forest Office Gulmi has opened a new vacancy for Forest Technician/Ranger and Local Facilitator for Tourism and Protected Forest Development Program under Forest Enterprise and Tourism Promotion Program. Interested and Qualified Nepali citizens are invited to apply within 15 days of publication of this notification.

Post: Ranger/ Forest Technician

Required No: Three

• Educational Qualification and Experience:
  • Passed Proficiency Certificate Level in Forestry from a recognized educational institution
  • Knowledge of computer, GPS and GIS
  • Able to prepare an action plan for community forest based on forest promotion system, to create an action plan for Kabuliati forest and to form a group. Able to implement the program according to the action plan.
  • Able to coordinate community mobilization.
  • Experience and knowledge in seed production, plantation, fire line construction/maintenance, and other technical matters related to forestry such as wildlife rescue.
  • Special preference will be given to those with work experience.
  • Able to drive two wheeler and have license

Post: Facilitator

• Number required: 3
• Educational qualification and experience
  • Passed 8th class
  • Able to coordinate community mobilization.
  • Obtained knowledge and experience in other technical matters related to forestry such as preparation/renovation of community forest user groups and formation of action plans, seed production, tree planting, fire line construction/maintenance, wildlife rescue.
  • Preference will be given to those who can drive two wheelers and have a license.
  • Able to work overtime to complete assigned tasks.
  • There is information about the places within the protected forest area.
  • Able to work in the community.
  • Special preference will be given to those with work experience.
  • Should have resided within the respective protected forest area.

Salary and Benefits:

• Ranger/Forest Technician: Rs.30,000/- per month
• Facilitator: Rs. 12,000/- per month
